Basil McDonald

Basil graduated with a degree in Classics from St John’s College, Cambridge in 2011 and remained to sing in the choir for a further year as a lay-clerk. While at Cambridge, he was a soloist in Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle (St John’s College Music Society), Christ in the St Matthew Passion (Sidney Sussex Arts Festival) and Pilate in the St John Passion (St John’s College Choir) and regularly sang the bass solos in the St John’s termly Bach Cantata series with members of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. He now lives and sings in London.
