Have attended LCS concerts for well over a decade and the Song of Songs must be amongst the very best we have seen and heard. The choir was sharp (not in a musical sense) expressive and well disciplined - can't remember them having sung better. Musicians and soloists of the top order - how does the soprano maintain such high notes?!! Raven made me think a dozen string players were belting out the Vivaldi - pity it was so brief. The Song of Songs (we had been a bit dubious in anticipating a modern work) was wonderful. Well done all of you!

Well done to all in Louth Choral Society for a wonderful concert. Fabulous repertoire and a fine performance. So thrilling to sing with an adventurous choir exploring the wealth of choral music that our place in musical history offers us.

All themes enthusiastically embraced and reflected in this Best of British summer concert;  the time of the year when Louth Choral Society relax and, dare I say it, relish a little frivolity.
