Now that Christmas and New Year have past, I have finally found time to praise all those who took part in the 'Sing Noel' event at Louth Town Hall on December 17th 2011 (last year!). The selection of songs were wonderful. The children singing, the audience participation and joviality meant that the atmosphere reached all the way to the back row seats. It is the first time that I have seen Louth Choral Society but hopefully not the last.
Thank You for a memorable evening.

Dream of Gerontius concert Sunday 20/11/11 - I would like all those presenting this superb performance to know that it has been an absolute highlight of my 2011 musical year. How wonderfully the two huge choirs blended and what wonderful soloists. I do hope you can find vehicles for their wonderful voices again.

I attended Handel's 'Messiah' on Sunday 21st November. Being just 16 years of age, you not naturally think Baroque choral works would be my cup of tea. However, I must say that I felt St. James' church provided the ideal backdrop for this powerful choral masterpiece and that the voices of the Louth Choral Society filled the whole church with their divine vocal power! Together with the exquisite talents of the East Sinfonia Orchestra and the four soloists, they were no doubt worthy of having the pews jam-packed with people! I definitely intend to see more of their shows- consider me a fan!!

I attended the performance of Handel's "Messiah" on the 21st of November and just wanted to say it was amazing, to say the least. The soloists sung beautifully and the whole event was very well put together (besides the abrupt pause to inform some drivers their cars were blocking the road!). And I must say, the Soprano was breathtaking.

Congratulations on a wonderful Latin American experience in Louth. The 2 soloist tenors were outstanding & the richness of the rhythms & instruments of Caliche was beautiful & haunting.
The children were remarkable. My son Charles & I were impressed with the quality of the Choral Society; we look forward to your next event.

Hi, I attended "Music for a Summers Evening" at Louth and was hugely impressed with the sheer quality of the concert. Louth Choral Society get better every time I see them and are surely one of the top choirs in the region now. The two soloists were absolutely outstanding and no wonder there was a standing ovation and an encore! Congratulations and keep up the excellent work.
